Company Profile & Compliance

U Up Pty Ltd

A technology platform for verified booking requests.

U Up Pty Ltd develops and operates software that enables users to discover independent providers and submit structured booking requests through a staged platform workflow. It is an adult services platform: independent providers advertise availability and receive booking requests for sexual services, and listing material includes sexually explicit photography served only behind an age check. Payment details are entered through an approved third-party payment processor, and U Up's own platform booking fee is charged when the independent provider accepts the booking request, or at the time of booking where instant booking is used. Payment functionality is not yet live. Independent providers remain responsible for delivering their own services and are paid directly by the client.

Why U Up Exists

U Up is designed as a structured technology layer for discovery, booking requests, verification and platform support.

AU
Australian company

Operated by U Up Pty Ltd, an Australian registered company.

SAAS
Software platform

Built as a digital platform for structured booking requests, account workflows and controlled booking-status updates.

ID
Every account verified

Identity and age checks are carried out by Persona, a specialist verification provider. Providers are additionally verified against a government photo ID with a liveness match, and re-confirmed every 30 days.

$
Transparent fee model

U Up earns revenue only through its own platform booking fee, which is calculated on booked session duration. Provider service fees are paid directly to the provider and never pass through U Up.

SUP
Support channels

Users can contact platform support for booking and account-related assistance.

MOD
Moderated before publication

Every listing photograph and every bio is reviewed by a person before it appears, against published written standards. Material stays restricted until a moderator classifies it.

SEC
Security minded

Payments and platform operations rely on secure third-party technology providers.

POL
Policy backed

The platform is supported by privacy, terms, refund, support and community policies, published Content Standards, and a Complaints and Reporting Process.

18+
Age check on adult material

Sexually explicit listing material is served only to a viewer who has passed an age check. The rule is enforced on the server and on the image route independently, and it fails closed: any error, timeout or unavailable vendor leaves the gate shut. A formal risk assessment has been completed under Australia's Age-Restricted Material Code.

03 / Platform

What the Platform Does

The platform enables users to discover independent providers and submit structured booking requests through a staged workflow that may include booking details, mobile verification, payment detail entry through an approved processor, and provider review and acceptance.

01
Client selects booking details
A user selects an independent provider and chooses booking request details such as location type and time.
02
Client verifies email, mobile and age
The client confirms an email address and a mobile number by one-time passcode, then completes an age check before any age-restricted material is shown. The age check is facial age estimation, with a government-issued document as the fallback route.
03
Payment details entered securely
Where payment functionality is available, payment details are entered through an approved third-party payment processor. U Up does not store raw card details.
04
Provider reviews request
The independent provider receives the booking request and may accept or decline it through the platform workflow.
05
Controlled booking communication
Booking-related communication may be limited to controlled status updates and predefined workflow responses.
Platform fee charged
U Up's own platform booking fee is charged when the independent provider accepts the booking request, or at the time of booking where instant booking is used.

Two layers, one gate.

Every listing is split in two. Anyone may see a provider's working name, one non-explicit photograph, suburb, age, rates and availability. The full photo gallery, the service list and the provider's bio sit behind the age check, and sexually explicit photography lives only in that second layer. The split is enforced by the server, not by the interface.

Technology, not employment.

U Up Pty Ltd provides the software, booking request workflow, mobile verification pathways, controlled booking-status communication and platform administration. Independent providers remain responsible for providing their own services, managing their own pricing, availability, conduct and obligations.

04 / Payments

How Payments Work

This section explains the payment flow so payment processors, banks and reviewers can understand exactly what U Up charges, when it is charged, and how it is calculated. U Up collects only its own platform booking fee. Provider service fees never pass through U Up.

01

Request started

The client selects a provider, chooses booking details and begins the structured booking workflow.

02

Verification and payment details

The client may verify their mobile number and enter payment details through an approved payment processor.

03

Provider review

The independent provider receives the request and may accept or decline it through the platform workflow.

04

Standard booking: authorisation, then capture

On a standard booking U Up takes an authorisation, not a charge. Funds are reserved on the card and no money leaves the client's account. The provider has a set window to accept or decline. U Up captures only on acceptance. On a decline or a timeout the authorisation is explicitly reversed, and the booking settles as voided with nothing to return.

05

Instant booking: charged at booking

Instant booking is opt-in, available on incalls only, and is the exception to the above. The platform booking fee is charged at the time of booking, and a warning to that effect is shown before the payment step. Where the provider cannot proceed, the fee is refunded in full to the card as a refund, not a chargeback.

06

Platform fee only

U Up's own platform booking fee is the only amount U Up charges. It is calculated solely on the booked session duration, in 15-minute increments, at a flat rate per increment. It is set independently of the provider's own rate and is never a percentage of it. Provider service fees are paid by the client directly to the independent provider, who retains them in full. U Up does not receive, hold, or remit provider service fees at any time.

05 / Responsibilities

Who Is Responsible For What

U Up operates the platform layer. Independent providers remain responsible for their own services, pricing, availability and external obligations.

U Up Pty Ltd

Software platform and user experience.
Booking request workflow and platform notifications.
Collection of U Up's own platform booking fee, charged on provider acceptance or at the time of booking where instant booking is used. U Up does not receive, hold, or remit provider service fees at any time.
Mobile verification pathways and provider account or profile review processes.
Platform moderation and account administration.
Content classification and pre-publication moderation. Every listing photograph and bio is reviewed by a person before it appears, and material stays restricted until it is classified.
Customer support for platform-related issues.
Technology, data, controlled booking-status communication and payment infrastructure coordination.

Independent Providers

Delivery of their own services.
Setting their own pricing, availability and service terms.
Managing their own tax, insurance and external obligations.
Maintaining accurate profile and booking information.
Complying with applicable laws and platform policies.
Responding appropriately through the platform's controlled booking-status workflow where available.
Receiving their own service fee directly from the client and retaining it in full.
Ensuring every image shows the provider and nobody else. There is no approval path for an image containing another person, whoever they are and whether or not they agreed.
06 / Technology Stack

Technology Stack

U Up uses a layered technology approach to support the website, booking workflow, account records, payments, verification, analytics and user support.

WEB
Website & landing pages

Public-facing pages explain the business, platform model, policies and support pathways.

APP
Platform workflow

Booking request flows support discovery, booking details, mobile verification, provider review and acceptance, and controlled status updates.

PAY
Payment infrastructure

Payment details are handled by approved third-party payment infrastructure and never touch U Up's own servers. U Up's own platform booking fee is charged on provider acceptance, or at the time of booking where instant booking is used.

ID
Verification layer

Identity and age checks run through Persona. Clients complete a facial age estimation, with a government-issued document as the fallback route. Providers complete a government photo ID check cross-matched to a liveness capture, and are re-checked every 30 days. Persona returns a result only; no document, image or date of birth reaches U Up.

CLS
Content classification

An admin-only classification system assigns every listing image to a public or an age-restricted layer. Material is restricted by default until a moderator classifies it, and the restriction is enforced server-side on both the listing and the image route.

RISK
Risk monitoring

Platform activity and payment signals may be reviewed to detect misuse or suspicious behaviour.

DATA
Data records

Operational records support bookings, support, refunds, complaints and account reviews.

ANA
Analytics

Measurement tools may help improve website performance, flows and user experience.

SUP
Support systems

Support channels help users raise platform, account, payment, safety or policy questions.

07 / User Safety

User Safety

U Up is designed with operational safeguards that support identity verification, account integrity, user support and responsible platform management.

ID
Verification review

Provider onboarding may include verification and review processes before profiles are made available.

18+
Age check

U Up is an 18+ platform and a formal risk assessment has been completed under Australia's Age-Restricted Material Code. Age-restricted material is served only to a viewer who has passed an age check, enforced on the server and independently on the image route. The gate fails closed: any error, timeout or unavailable vendor leaves it shut.

REV
Manual reviews

Profiles, accounts and platform activity can be reviewed for quality, integrity and policy compliance.

RISK
Fraud monitoring

Staged booking steps, mobile verification, payment signals and platform activity may be reviewed to help detect misuse or suspicious behaviour.

$
Payment controls

U Up's own platform booking fee is charged on provider acceptance, or at the time of booking where instant booking is used. No other amount is charged by U Up.

DATA
Data protection

Reasonable safeguards are used to protect user accounts, platform data and operational records.

REP
Reporting pathways

Users can contact support regarding booking, account, safety or platform-related concerns.

SUP
Customer support

Support is available for platform questions, account issues and booking workflow assistance.

RPT
Content reporting

Anyone may report content that breaches the Content Standards, whether or not they hold an account, by emailing [email protected]. In-product reporting controls, placed on the listing and on the photograph, are being built and are not yet live. Every report is reviewed by a person, and anything suggesting a person under 18 is acted on before it is investigated.

GOV
The eSafety Commissioner

The eSafety Commissioner is Australia's independent online safety regulator. A complaint about U Up can be made to the Commissioner directly at esafety.gov.au, at any time, without our permission and without coming to us first. On request, U Up provides the Commissioner with its assigned risk profile and the reasons for it.

BRP
Data breach response

U Up maintains a documented data breach response plan with a named breach lead and a single decision-maker. Where a breach is likely to result in serious harm, we notify affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner under the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.

How we would handle a breach.

The plan runs in four steps: contain, assess, notify, review. Assessment targets 72 hours against a legal maximum of 30 days, and one named person owns the decision rather than two directors deliberating, because deadlock is the realistic failure mode on a small team.

Our working assumption is that any breach involving user identity is a serious-harm breach unless it is clearly demonstrated otherwise. Given what this platform is, that is the only safe default.

A vendor breach is still our obligation. If a provider of ours is breached we establish what of our data was involved rather than accepting a generic notice, run our own assessment rather than adopting theirs, and notify our users ourselves where serious harm is likely. We also review whether to continue with that vendor.

The notification itself is designed not to cause harm. A breach email will never carry a subject line or preview text that reveals platform use to someone reading over a shoulder. Neutral subject, detail inside. In this category a careless notification can create the exact harm it exists to mitigate.

The plan commits to an annual walk-through of a full scenario end to end. It is not published, because it names individuals, escalation timings and specific failure scenarios. It is provided to payment processors and banking partners under their own diligence processes, and to a regulator on request.

08 / Compliance

Compliance Documents

Dedicated policy pages explain how U Up manages privacy, platform use, payments, refunds, cookies, user conduct, security, support and complaints.

Risk assessment and breach response.

U Up has completed a formal written risk assessment under Schedule 6 of the Designated Internet Services Online Safety Code, covering the age-restricted material the platform carries and the controls that gate it. It is reviewed annually, and immediately on any material change to the service. The assessment is not published, but it is provided to the eSafety Commissioner on request, and to payment processors and banking partners under their own diligence processes.

A documented data breach response plan sits alongside it, covering containment, assessment against the serious-harm test, notification to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner and to affected individuals, and post-incident review. It is available on the same basis. See section 07.
